Visitors to the Lighting World website are able to choose to see prices with or without VAT and automatically receive discounts on selected items according to the quantity ordered. Options such as these are available with all Site System™ ecommerce set-ups. Also operated by DC Homewood are another two Site System 2 shops specialising in ponds and pools (www.pondsandpools.co.uk), and general electrical items (www.dchdirect.co.uk).
Discount Direct
Discount Direct is the UK's premier independent online domestic appliance store, offering thousands of products and enjoying a multi-million pound turnover. It has a reputation for ease-of-use and remains accessible year-in, year-out. Even though the Site System™ ecommerce module features an intuitive 'drill-down' system based on either icons or drop-down lists, it also has a powerful text search facility enabling visitors to quickly find products by model number or feature etc.
Buckmore Park Shop
The Buckmore Park Shop website is one of five Site System 2 sites operated by Buckmore and presented as one mega-site by way of a common tab metaphor. Note the right-hand navigation system which is available for any Site System 2 website, and ensures that the visitor always knows exactly where in the site or shop they are at all times.
