The site configuration page allows you to set site-wide items of text and universal meta tags that apply if individual page meta tags are empty; to choose the 'home' or start page; to close the entire site in an instant (leaving a logo and 'closed' notice accordingly); to configure home page 'quick links' that allow the visitor to jump straight to pages buried within the site's structure; to set the email address that the contact form is sent to; and much more besides.
