Secure, redundant hosting

Site System™ websites are hosted on a fast, dedicated server specifically configured to host secure, mission-critical web applications. Running Linux and Apache, the primary server is housed in a top UK datacentre, directly connected to a 100Mb unrestricted network (with redundancy). This server is remotely monitored and controlled by Sinclair Design, and is also expertly maintained and monitored 24/7 by on-site technicians known in person to Sinclair Design.

All Site System™ databases and picture directories are instantly replicated to a secondary server in an equally secure and monitored datacentre in Germany (to offer environmental and organisational redundancy), with both servers running RAID 1 mirrored disks. In addition to all of this, a nightly snap-shot is taken of each Site System™ database (kept for a month on the secondary server), and a stand-by chassis is ready for rapid primary disk-swap if a serious problem occurs. Also, complete DNS switching can be effected to the secondary server within minutes ...not a half-hearted hosting service by any stretch of the imagination!
